BRADFORD – Yesterday, York-Simcoe Progressive Conservative Candidate, Julia Munro, launched her re-election campaign for Member of Provincial Parliament.
“I am excited to meet voters at this pivotal moment. It’s an honour to ask for their vote. I’m proud of our plan and optimistic for York-Simcoe and the province but there’s a lot of work to do to get back on track,” stated PC Candidate Munro.
The Progressive Conservative Party has the only real plan for today and tomorrow:
- Generate Jobs
- Stop the Scandals and Waste
- Balance the Budget
- Make Energy Affordable
- Simplify Government
“This Liberal government has squandered the richness of this province through scandals and wasteful spending. The provincial government has never been embroiled in two police investigations before. As taxpayers, we can’t afford the interest on the $300 Billion debt. That’s money we trusted the government to spend on healthcare and other services.
“Ontario is now the sag in the middle of the country instead of the foundation,” continued Munro, “We need a new direction – our jobs plan will lift Ontarians from their sinking position in Canada. The time is now to concentrate on job growth and deficit elimination. The time for deficit spending is long over. It’s time to live within our means. If we don’t, we risk the public services and infrastructure we care most about. At the end of the day, it’s about people. Each job is so important to the stability of our community,” concluded PC Candidate, Julia Munro.
The Munro Campaign will be engaging the people of York-Simcoe on everyday issues and the future of our province. The case for change is clear. Enough is enough.
Volunteers, donations and lawn-sign requests are always welcome. PC Team Munro has already been busy planning door-to-door canvassing blitzes across the riding, sign installation, friend-raisers and fund-raisers, as well as other campaign events. If you received this release by email, you will be notified of campaign events.
